Septic tanks and Cess pits need to be emptied regularly.  However, how regularly would depend on the amount of waste and the size of the tank or pit. It also recommended that the tank is also cleaned regularly as this would greatly reduce the risk of blockages together with overflowing. Siddell Environmental Services Ltd have a fleet of vehicles to carry out this work all of which are equipped with a power vacuum separate and water supply allowing tanks to be emptied and cleaned quickly.

All waste will be disposed at a licensed disposal site in accordance with UK legislation. We are also able to wash out the tanks using our high pressure jetting system and clean the drains to prevent any blockages and clear the drains of any dirt and debris.

It is also a necessity to make sure that any tanks are regularly maintained and inspected which we can also do when we visit.  We can also carry out repairs to any leaks to stop seepage into ground to prevent any environmental damage.
